Is Mankading appropriate in cricket?

There have been a lot heated debate about the recent dismissal of Jos buttler and also Shikhar Dhawans reaction when Ashwin was trying to get him out the same way .

So first things first I really think what Ashwin did to Jos Buttler was not correct but I'm telling this from a fan perspective . Some people do raise questions about whether its legally appropriate. If we see through the rule books then you might say what Ashwin is right.  But wait a minute the rule says
,if the batsmen is out of the crease when the following bowler is expected to release the ball then the bowler can run him out.But what Ashwin did was he completed his action and the waited for Buttler to be out of the crease. Hence what Ashwin did here was completely out of spirit of game. Both Ashwin and Buttler are quite familiar with this type of dismissal with Ashwin that time not getting his reward as wicket Thirimane .
But all in all what Ashwin did was wrong but I remember the under 19 world cup where this had happened, that time the dismissal was accurate as the batsmen was well outside the crease when the bowler was expected to release the ball.So my point is that its actually pretty wrong that a batsmen is actually out of crease before the bowler has even released the ball so I think the rule is very much correct it is just matter of taking the right decision at the right moment. During Buttler dismissal the umpires should have gone up to third umpire and then the third umpire should have synced the time of expected release of the ball and time when batsmen went out of crease. You might say synchronising all this is difficult but such small things have big impact on batsmen ,the team ,the fans everyone.
