Review of Indian cricket team squad for World Cup 19

So the much awaited squad for the world cup  has been picked .The squad was picked and there was a roller coaster of response from all the fans . There were a few surprises but I thought it was expected , I wrote a blog about probable squad where I mentioned key things that would go in favour of some players.
Lets Start with Bowling lineup. The two frontline Spinners are as expected the Kuldeep and Chahal combination with Sir Ravi Jadeja as a back up spinner. The inculsion of Ravi Jadeja is not a big surprise for me as it is for others ,because he will bring that extra energy in the field which is very crucial for long tournaments like the world cup. Then the pacers which is lead by Jasprit Bumrah looks pretty good. There were quite a few talks about the need of fourth fast bowler, my view on it would be that, having a fourth fast bowler is a luxury but not a necessity. The first phase of the world cup where India play in overcast conditions  of Southampton ,London and Nottingham there might be need of third fronline pacer so obviously we can do nothing but keep our fingers crossed that noone gets injured. Then in second phase where the knockout matches starts the condition are expected to be drier there India can go with there strength and play two frontline spinners .
With Hardik Pandya in the squad he will give that option of third fast bowler and I really think he can prosper with his bowling this World cup and if in case he is leaking runs then there always a Kedar Jadhav supporting him . Hardik Pandya has been in tremendous form in this IPL with his finishing skills and people are talking about how balanced Indias squad looks when Hardik is around. Then the curious case of backup keeper ,in last blog I highlighted the fact that how Dinesh Karthik has an upper hand because of the immaturity shown by Pant in the ongoing IPL and I will also like to mention that Rishab Pant dropped a catch of Ashton Turner when he was on 38, then Turner went on to win the match for his team .So I think, like MSK Prasad said if some injury happens to MS Dhoni then Indian team needs a totally good backup in terms of experience and skill .
The point of Shankar being three dimensional player did not digest to me because he hardly bowls but during the interview ,when asked about Indias number 4 slot MSK Prasad replied  it might me Shankar but if you ask me it should be either Karthik or Rahul but that would all depend upon team management, they have got their options it is just the matter of choosing it precisely.
