Things that need to be fixed before the World cup

The Whole Indian Squad have reached England.

So there is enough time for them to breath and then fix those potholes in the squad. There are two warm up matches before the World cup starts .So these two warm up matches can give them enough game time. One match is against the Kiwis and the next is with Bangladesh. 

         They have a few problems to address such as the number 4 slot and whether to play 2 spinners or 3 fast bowlers.Firstly the number 4 slot was a key discussion pre world cup and now we are here discussing the same problem just few days before World cup . I think they need to give Vijay Shankar a chance because if his batting somehow goes well then the Indian Squad  will have an outstanding fielder and an extra bowler.But in the hindsight I just think Kl Rahul would be great at that position too because of the fact that if he gets set then he can win matches single handedly just like he did for his franchise this season .

The only problem with him at number four is that he will be in the squad just as a pure batsmen as he cannot bowl and I observed that his fielding is not that good . So obviously Shankar is a very tempting choice but there is also class of Lokesh Rahul.Some say MS Dhoni can also play at number 4 but then there is inexperienced lower order batting coming up, so MS Dhoni at number 4 is not a good option . I think they need to give a chance to Shankar in the Warms up and see his batting, confidence everything.

         Then problem of bowling combination  can be fixed, as in England its all about conditions. But I think in the first match they need to go with their strength that is playing 2 spinners and unleashing the Kuldeep - Chahal combination.

Then who  the two fast bowlers would be ?I think so Bhuvi should be given a chance because in this latest IPL I saw that there is a complete need of two death bowlers in the shorter   format of the game. But you never know you can play three quicks as well because in the recent series we saw how much Virat Kohli loves using his fast bowlers.

          Don't know whether Kedar would be fit before the warm up game so I think thats the perfect time to test both Kl Rahul and Shankar in the same match.Much would be dependent upon how these players play in the warm ups.These are the only problems ,rest of the line up is pretty much cemented.
