India had an heavy defeat against England. Sad to say but all major world cup followers must have thought that this would be a mighty game ,yes it was a huge game but actually India were outplayed by England in every aspect of the game.
Now what?
India has a really weak middle order, I thought before the World cup,Dhoni in the middle would make things easier for others but sadly it was the other way round yesterday. Now Vijay Shankar is injured and mostly Mayank Agarwal is the replacement. I will say that's a very smart selection because he can bat at the top and can bat also in the middle.Mayank can do the opening job with Rohit and Kl Rahul now can bat at number 4,this makes the batting line up very strong. But I still think Pant is the one that needs to be given chance in the middle because as everyone around the world says that he is X factor for the Indian team. Kedar Jadhav is really doing nothing in this team he is batting with very less intent , without any eagerness and he has not bowled enough too .But only thing that can be changed for that is bring Ravindra Jadeja in ,he has been phenomenal with the bat in test matches so why not try him,as the matches that lie ahead is with weak teams .
India's bowling has been phenomenal they have been very accurate, yes they were punished in the England match but then too they have been good in rest of the matches . I think they need to continue with two spinners because in the end they are game changers . They should continue with Shami he has almost forced Virat to go with him through his performances .
I still think India win the cup ,if they polish their batting line up a bit.
